HR Generalist SAUDI ARABIA

We are seeking an HR Generalist to join the Marine Technical Services Division (MTSD) of the Marine Department.

The MTSD is responsible for monitoring the manpower movements in the department, and coordinates the training and development of the employees in terms of academic qualifications, customizing career paths, and developmental business assignments. This division is also responsible for monitoring and tracking the vessels that are both owned and charted

The HR Generalist’s primary role is to have responsibility of supporting, planning, and leading the HR functions at the department level. In addition, the HR Generalist coordinates and delivers HR services to their assigned organization, in line with upper management and corporate HR strategies and policies.

Minimum Requirements

As the successful candidate you will hold a bachelor degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Economics, or Law from a recognized and approved program, or any related Business Major. 

You will have 5 years of experience in Human Resource Management with an international, or large company, preferably in the oil & gas industry.

Training and employee development experience is highly desirable.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following: 

Provide guidance and advice for the manager, division heads, and HR strategy for the department. 

Participate and support the KPIs related to the department’s HR functions. 

Provides feedback and recommendations to the manager and division heads when it comes to the developmental plans and career path for employees. 

Handle confidential and sensitive information, including succession planning.

Ensure that the department’s value is kept and maintained through compliance with corporate policies and procedures. 

Act as a point of contact, aka middle-man, with other departments within the company, as well as with upper management.

Handle department manpower in terms of monitoring, hiring, attrition, recruitment, and talent acquisition. 

Other requirements:

Maintaining employee files and reports. 

Must be savvy in Excel, Microsoft offices, SAP, and HRIS (Human Resource Management Information System). 

Ability to resolve conflict. 

Understanding employment laws and company policies. 

Administrative writing skills. 

Multitasking. 

High organization and coordinating skills. 

Ethical practice. 

Relationship Management. 

Global & Cultural Awareness.
