Role purpose:

As a Regional Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the development of the Lloyd’s Register (LR) ‘Asset Performance Management’ (APM) software business in Asia - Pacific.

 

The purpose of this role is to support the global APM software product line achieves its business objectives:

 

  • Grow top line revenue from the sale of LR’s APM software products
  • Build long term, strategic relationships with customers
  • Help customers drive world class: performance, compliance and assurance of their assets

 

You will be a thought leader in the area of sales and customer experience and will be committed to building long lasting and value-centric relationship with business decision makers, industry stakeholders and market analysts and influencers.

 

You will be based out of the Kuala Lumpur LR office and will work alongside colleagues across LR (including LR’s Digital, Energy, Marine and MSIS business streams) to create a compelling and successful customer.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a regional business plan, and build targeted account plans, resulting in a robust business growth pipeline

Build and maintain executive relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor to ensure retention and growth in spend.

Conduct periodic reviews of business to ensure accurate forecasting and opportunity management; analyse wins and losses; present regular, accurate reports for management for review

Drive LR business growth by delivering increased year-on-year revenue, gross profit and total contract value (TCV).

Identify key customers, opportunities and emerging markets.

Work with relationship owners to provide consultative client engagement and thought leadership in defining and driving sales activity for demand generation and winning propositions

Build and maintain quality Internal relationships across the organisation

Manage multiple opportunities through the entire business cycle simultaneously, working with cross-functional teams as necessary

Provide client and market led input into product strategy

Meet/exceed annual sales targets and performance KPIs

Accurately forecast sales and revenue from the USA regional on a quarterly basis within +/- 7%
