Job Description

Business Development Manager

Has overall sales responsibility for customer relationships and
performance of an assigned customer portfolio for a medium impact
client base in any size cluster/geographical area.





Key Responsibilities
  • Manages assigned customers and budget base; pursues and secures business in line with the business objectives.
  • Probes and identifies customer needs and provides solutions.
  • Builds a good understanding of target customers and the assigned account base.
  • Communicates significant trends, rate changes and policies to assigned
  • accounts.
  • Researches and understands the territory to identify and establish
  • business contacts with potential customers.
  • Researches and analyses competitive and industry trends.
  • Ensures customer relationship management tools are updated on time and
  • are of excellent quality.
  • Is typically responsible for medium impact customers to the business in
  • any size cluster.


We are looking for

  • Minimum 4 years of sales / commercial experience in logistics (Sales, Account Manager, CS, Product Solution, etc.).
  • Logistics expertise.
  • Supply chain expertise (to optimize SOW across products), insight selling, connectors (stakeholder management, influencing skills).
  • High-level product understanding including how it solves different customer pains.
  • Strategic influencing.
  • Negotiation skills/procurement tactics.
  • Strategic partnering, financial acumen, matrix management, value co-creator, presentation skills.
